Racial Foundations of Public Policy

Racial Foundations of Public Policy is a fall speaker series and course that focuses on the historical roots and impact of race in shaping public policy as both a disciplinary field and as a course of action. In fall of 2023, we are delighted to welcome author and Associate professor of sociology at the University of Maryland Dr. Kris Marsh, and acclaimed poet, educator, Ford School Alumna, Airea D. Matthews (MPP '07), and professor of sociology and senior vice president for equity at Rutgers University, Dr. Enobong (Anna) Branch.
