Join us for a virtual workshop on conducting policy and action research within our own communities. How do we navigate insider and outsider statuses as researchers, advocates and community members? Under what conditions is being the researcher in the room a place of power or a position of low regard? Can research focused on justice be done (credibly) without participatory methods? What distinguishes independent research from claims of objectivity and neutrality?
